Hiking Routes on the Costa Blanca
The different attractions that exist around this coast are what make the Costa Blanca a special place. At Boutique Hotel LaSort we want to provide you with more information about the nature that surrounds us and we have compiled some fantastic hiking routes that our guests can enjoy when staying at our hotel. The routes are accessible to all publics and all ages.

First and foremost, to make your journey as comfortable and safe as possible, we make the following recommendations:

- You should wear comfortable clothes

- Sports shoes or hiking boots with ankle protection.

- Cap

- Sun protection or protection against the cold depending on the time of year.

- Water

Excursion to the Cap d´Or Watchtower Moraira

This route lasts approximately 35 minutes 1 hour round trip and covers a distance of 1.5 Kms. It can be done all year round and starts at the Portet beach. The reward on arrival is the wonderful views of the bay of Moraira, the Peñon de Ifach, L´Albir, the Serra Gelada and if you are lucky and the day is clear you can even see the coast of Ibiza.

Excursion to Barranc de la Viuda, Cala Llebeig and Cala Moraig Moraira and El Poble Nou de Benitatxell

This route lasts approximately 3 hours and covers a distance of 8 Kms. It can be done all year round and its starting point is the Barranc de la Viuda, this route goes through one of the most beautiful and impressive areas of Moraira.

Excursion to the Serra d´Olta Calp

This is a circular route that starts in the town of Calp and goes to the Olta camping area. It lasts approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes and can be done all year round.

Excursion to El Montgo Jesus Pobre, Denia and Javea

This route runs through the towns of Jesus Pobre, Denia and Xabia, it is a circular route with an approximate distance of 12 Kms and an estimated time of 4 hours, it is recommended all year round and its starting point is Jesus Pobre.

Excursion from Puig Llorensa to Cala de la Granadella El Poble Nou de Benitatxell and Javea

This route runs through the areas of Benitatxell and Javea. The Puig de la Llorensa, 445 metres high, has been the protagonist of several finishes in different years in the LaVuelta cycling race. The Puig Llorensa separates the village of Benitatxell from its abrupt coastline. The route takes approximately 3 hours to complete and covers a distance of 8.4 km. It is recommended all year round and starts at the Cumbre del Sol residential development.

Excursion to the Peñon de Ifach Calpe

The Peñon de Ifach is a huge limestone promontory that rises on the coast of the Marina Alta, in Calp. This privileged balcony is one of the most visited natural parks in the Region of Valencia, and stands out for its wealth of flora and birdlife. The hiking route up to the Peñon de Ifach is 4 km long and takes approximately 3 hours. It can be done all year round, and the reward on arrival is wonderful views of the Mediterranean coastline, the exploration of the flora and the sighting of birdlife.

Excursion to La Cova Tallada Javea

The route is short but has steep slopes in the initial section, at some points along the path itself. It lasts 45 minutes and covers a distance of 2.5 km. You can see the unique shapes and dimensions of the Cova Tallada walking along a path next to the sea, between bushes and pines shaped by the action of the wind.
