In Moraira, each filà (group) of Moors or Christians works all year to dazzle with their costumes, recreating the splendour of the caliphates and the solemnity of Christian troops. The sound of the dolçaina and tabal marks the rhythm of the parades, which culminate in simulated battles with arquebuses, filling the air with unique energy.

At 7:30 pm, the traditional Medieval Market opens—an ideal way to get into the festive spirit before the opening speech at 10:00 pm in the church square.
One of the festival’s highlights. After the flower offering in the afternoon, at 11:00 pm, l’Ampolla beach becomes the stage for the Moorish Landing. A stunning display of boats and lights is followed by the Moorish Embassy and the capture of Moraira Castle.
The day begins with the thunder of arquebuses during the despertà (wake-up parade). The main event arrives at 7:30 pm with the Christian Reconquest by the castle, where the Christian forces reclaim the fortress. The night ends with a grand celebration and live music.
The grand finale. Starting at 7:00 pm, all Moorish and Christian filaes parade through the main streets of Moraira in an impressive final parade filled with music, floats, and spectacular costumes. A true feast for the senses!
